Shri. H.S. Karangle has been the Director (Technical) of Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd. (RCF) with effect from 20.12.2003.

He is a Mechanical Engineer from Nagpur University and also acquired a Diploma in Management. Joined RCF (Erstwhile FCI) in 1972 as a Junior Executive Trainee. In Trombay Unit, he worked in Ammonia, PAP, & ANP Plants as an Operations Manager.

After becoming Dy. General Manager, he was posted at Thal and led the team of Plant Health Services, Product Handling Plant and Workshop etc. He became General Manager in May 2002 and shouldered the critical responsibility as General Manager (P&A) at Thal. Afterwards he was transferred to Trombay and headed the team of Corporate Personnel and Administration as General Manager (PM Corp.)

Before taking over charge of Director (Technical) he worked as Executive Director (Co-Ordination). He has visited various countries like Italy, UK and France under UNDP and also Germany and Holland for various jobs. He is also National Chairman of Technical Development Committee of Refinery Petrochemicals and Fertilizer Industry.

A gentle and disciplined man, Shri Karangle enjoys reading and has special interest in Cricket & Music.
