RCF Ltd is a leading profit making public sector undertaking engaged in the field of manufacturing and marketing various Fertilizers and Industrial Chemicals having manufacturing units at Thal, Dist. Raigad and Trombay, Mumbai. Also the company has Marketing offices all over India. The company has ongoing projects at Thal, Mumbai and DAP Project coming up in Rajasthan. Company has its own well-equipped hospitals at Trombay & Thal catering exclusively to the medical needs of its employees.
The Company requires following positions:
(1) Deputy Finance Managers- 2 Nos.,(E4 Grade – Rs.14500-350-18700/-)
The posting may be in Trombay Unit, Thal Unit or any area office depending on requirement.
Minimum Qualification- CA/ICWA
Upper Age Limit as on 01.06.2008: - The Upper Age Limit is 40 years
Minimum Experience: The required post qualification experience including Training period, if any, is 13 yrs.
Preference will be given to candidates having experience of working in large Fertilizer plants.
Reservation: The posts are unreserved. Others things being equal SC/ST/OBC candidates will be given preference.
PWD candidates are eligible to apply for the posts.
(2) Asstt. Finance Managers - 3 Nos. ( E3 Grade – Rs.13000-350-18250/-)
:
The posting may be in Trombay Unit, Thal Unit or any area office depending on requirement.
Minimum Qualification- CA/ICWA
Upper Age Limit as on 01.06.2008: - The Upper Age Limit is 36 years
Minimum Experience: The required post qualification experience including Training period, if any, is 9 yrs.
Reservation: The posts are unreserved. Others things being equal SC/ST/OBC candidates will be given preference.
PWD candidates are eligible to apply for the posts.
Preference will be given to candidates having experience of working in large Fertilizer plants.
(3) Sr. Fire Officer(1 no.) (E3 Grade - Pay Scale Rs. 13000-350-18250):
The initial posting may be in Trombay Unit.
Minimum Qualification- B.E.(Fire) or Degree/ Diploma with Divisional Officer’s Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur. The standard physical norms as per National code for Fire Services shall be applicable.
Upper Age Limit as on 01.06.2008 - The Upper Age Limit is 38 years.
Minimum Experience- He should have minimum 8 years working experience in fire services out of which minimum 3 years shall be as incharge of moderate size fire station comprising of minimum 3 fire tenders.
Reservation: The post is unreserved.
(4) Human Resource Officer- 2 nos.- Pay Scale: E1 (Rs. 8600-250-14600) :
The initial posting may be in Trombay Unit.
Minimum Qualification- Degree in any discipline plus 2 years full time Post Graduation Degree with specialization in HR, Personnel, Welfare and Industrial Relations from recognized University/ Institution. Additional qualification in Law will be preferred. Proficiency in Marathi is desirable.
Upper Age Limit as on 01.06.2008 - The Upper Age Limit is 28 years.
Minimum Experience- The required post qualification experience including training if any is 3 years in HR Department dealing with Labour Administration, Industrial Relations, Grievance Handling, Welfare, Court matters etc.
Reservation: One post is reserved for OBC and one post is unreserved.
PWD candidates are eligible to apply for the posts.
Age relaxation for all above posts as per Govt. Guidelines: -
• SC/ST-5 Years
• OBC-3 Years
• PWD(Persons with Disabilities)-10 Years
• Candidates domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir between 1.1.1980 and 31.12.1989- 5 years
• Ex-servicemen - 5 years
• Children/Family members of the victims of 1984 riots- 5 years.
Other conditions for all above posts:
Total Monthly emoluments at the minimum of the Basic Pay inclusive of DA and other allowances works out to Rs. 37000/- approx. in E4 Grade, Rs 33000/- approx. in E3 Grade and Rs.23000/- approx in E1 Grade.
(The pay scales are due for Revision w.e.f. 01/01/2007).
Housing in the Company’s township will be provided subject to availability. HRA as per company’s rules is payable if candidates do not opt for company accommodation or cannot be provided by the Company.
Functional Knowledge of Computer application is essential for all the above posts.
The number of posts are indicative and Management reserves the right to change the same at its discretion.
Selection: Shortlisted Candidates will be called for Personal Interview. The Company reserves the right to call only those candidates who according to its decision, rank high in terms of eligibility criteria from the applications received. Merely meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will not make any candidate automatically entitled for being called for interview. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

on or before 23rd June 2008 , accompanied by a Crossed Demand Draft from any nationalised bank (Non refundable) for an amount of Rs.300/- (Rs. Three Hundred Only), drawn in favour of Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd., payable at Mumbai, towards the application fees (No application fees for SC/ST/PWD candidates and the Children /Family members of the victims of 1984 riots).
As already stated, the Company Reserves the right to decide the eligibility criteria of the candidates and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
The Application Fees is NOT REFUNDABLE in any case.
Please read all the Instructions carefully before filling up the Form.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. The candidates must have an active e-mail id.
2. The eligible candidates will be intimated about the date, time and venue of Interview through post and or e-mail on the e-mail id provided by them in the application form.
3. Candidates belonging to OBC but coming in ‘creamy layer’ will not be entitled to reservation and should apply as General category. No relaxation in age is applicable for this category.
OBC (Non creamy layer) Candidates submitting certificates in the prescribed format and which are issued after 1st January, 2008 (as given in Annexure I) will only be considered in the OBC category. If the certificate is not produced or not produced in the prescribed format, the candidates will be considered in General category, without any age relaxation.
Applications of SC/ST candidates not submitted alongwith certificates in the prescribed format (as given in Annexure II) will not be considered.
The candidates have to strictly follow the instructions as regards the Caste Certificate.
There will be no correspondence with the candidates in this regards.
4. Application of PWD candidates not submitted alongwith certificates in the prescribed format (as given in Annexure III )will not be considered.
5. For appearing for the Interview, all candidates will be reimbursed to and fro III AC Rail / Bus fare by the shortest route on production of the ticket.
6. Candidates presently employed in Govt. Deptt. / PSUs / Semi Govt. Departments will be required to submit their applications through proper channel. However , Advance copy to RCF may be sent , if necessary.
7 The filled up Application Form along with enclosure(s) must reach at the given
address latest by 23rd June, 2008
8. Application Form of SC/ST/PWD candidates/ Children/Family members of the victims of 1984 riots without a copy of the prescribed certificate from competent Authority will be rejected. Application of OBC candidates without prescribed certificate will be subject to clause 3 above.
9. The post applied for is to be written at the top left-hand corner of the envelope, while sending the Application Form to RCF along with DD/Caste or disability certificate.
10. No communication (written/telephonic) will be entertained after the closing date of the submission of the Application Form, as regards the date of Interview etc. the candidates should await the intimation from the Company.
11. The Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Mumbai.
