Nanotechnology is an emerging field with potential to provide efficient nutrient management as compared to existing fertilizer management practices. Nano Urea is expected to reduce Urea consumption by up to around 50% and being an eco-friendly product will protect the health of soil. RCF is setting up Nano Urea plant at Trombay at an estimated cost of about Rs. 238 Crore. Project is expected to be completed by March 2024.
