Vigilance in RCF

About Us
Vigilance means "Watchfulness". Watchfulness in an organizational set up ensures that its functioning is as per the laid down policies, procedures and practices. Watchfulness also helps in detection of any deviation from such policies, procedures and practices. Vigilance plays an important role in detecting and analyzing root cause of the lapses, to take corrective measures for preventing recurrences, suggest & implement “Preventive measures” to detect deviations for identifying the lapses before its inception. In a 'Government Organisation' like RCF, Vigilance attempts to create transparency in dealings and decision making thereby works as an anticorruption tool.

RCF being a public sector organization its Vigilance Department is the extended arm of the Central Vigilance Commission of Government of India. The Vigilance Department in RCF strives to achieve the objectives laid by CVC for the benefit of the organization and society in general.

Set Up
Vigilance Department is headed by Chief Vigilance Officer and assisted by a team of Vigilance Officers drawn from the various fields of the organization such as Technical, Marketing, Finance, HR and Commercial Departments. RCF has posted Vigilance Officers at Corporate Office at Mumbai and Thal Unit.
